Smart Puppy
When I let Fendi out of the kitchen to play, she usually runs wild between the dinning and living rooms. To keep a closer eye on her, I decided to block off the entrance into the living room with the gate that I use in the kitchen. This would also allow Fendi quick access back to her potty in the kitchen. Well when I let her out, she ran up to the gate in the living room, ran back into the dining room, and then sprinted under the couch. She ended up right into the living room and I had to call her to come back. So much for trying to trick her into staying in the dinning room!

In for the long Haul
The first two nights Fendi would wake up in the middle of the night crying. I would take her into the kitchen so she could use the bathroom. Now she sleeps through the night without crying, so this is progress. However, she will not voluntarily step onto her "potty tray". I have to put her there in the middle of act. She also likes to drag her toys into that area as well. I remember when she was too scared to step on it. Even though the tray is raised to allow the liquid to trickle down to the newspaper, I don't want her to play in the same area she poops in. And speaking of poop, all that I have managed to do is get her to pee on the tray. She will dodoo everywhere but there. And when I think she is done, and let her out she likes to leave little trails in my living room. I am trying to decide whether I want her to go inside or outdoors. :(

First Night
Fendi did not like the car ride home from Miami. She was crying and I had to take her out of the crate. I tried to have her sit on my lap, but she was so anxious that she kept getting in the way of me driving. So needless to say, she cried herself to sleep. Once we got gome, I had to stop by walmart to get a gate for the kitchen. A few shoppers thought I was carrying a teddy bear. Lol, Ok, why would a grown woman be carrying a teddy bear in a blanket? Anyway I gave her some nutrical once we got in. She didnt have much of an appetite. She cried twice that night. Once because she was lonely in the kitchen, and the other because she had to go to the bathroom. That was like 2:00 a.m. I hope she can sleep through the night tonight.
